The 2026 Deep Run Marching Band Middle School Invitational will be Friday, October 2!

Are you currently in Middle School and want to know what it’s like to be a Deep Run Marching Wildcat?‍ ‍

Join us on Friday, October 2, 2026, for our annual Middle School Invitational, where you can be a Marching Wildcat for the day! Get a behind-the-scenes look at our pre-game rituals, be paired up with a fellow Marching Wildcat, learn and practice some stand tunes that you’ll play during the game, and march out with the Marching Band pre-game and at the halftime show performance!

Please complete the sign-up form so we can make sure we pair everyone with a musician that plays your instrument or a color guard member. Every middle schooler will be provided with a DRMB Middle School Invitational t-shirt.

Day of Logistics:

  • 5:30pm: Arrive at DRHS and check in at the table outside of the Deep Run Band Room (see map)

    • You will need to wear your Middle School ID the entire time

    • Bring your instrument (except percussion and color guard)

    • You will be paired with a musician, color guard, or section based on your interest

  • ~6:30pm: Form line and march to the football stadium; view the visiting team’s marching band performance

  • ~6:55pm: Line up with the DRHS football team for their entrance

  • Q1+Q2: Play stand tunes alongside the DRMB in the stands

  • Halftime: March out with the Marching Wildcats and view the halftime show on the sideline

  • Post-Halftime show: Dismissal (parent/guardian must be present for marcher to be dismissed)
